Event Lead Capture
Export leads to your CRM
CSV columns, what maps where, webhooks.
Your leads are yours. Export them whenever you like — during the show, at the end of each day, or once at the end.
Export a CSV
From Leads, choose Export. You get one row per lead with predictable columns:
| Column | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
name, email, phone, company, title | Fields you mapped with saves to |
city, state | Mapped fields, if you asked for them |
event, booth | Which stand captured the lead |
warmth, rating, score, stage | Your qualification |
notes | Whatever the rep typed at the stand |
source | self, rep, ocr or checkin |
capturedAt | Timestamp, UTC |
| One column per custom question | Unmapped qualifier answers |
Because the contact fields are mapped to real columns rather than buried in a "responses" blob, the file imports into Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or a spreadsheet without a cleanup pass.
Export at the end of each day rather than once at the end of the show. It's the cheapest possible insurance, and it lets follow-up start while you're still standing on the floor.
Mapping into your CRM
Most CRM importers ask you to match columns on the first screen. The five contact columns map straight onto the standard contact fields.
For the qualifier columns you have two sensible options:
- Map the ones you'll filter on to custom fields — "timeline" and "budget" earn their place.
- Leave the rest and let them land in notes. You'll read them once, when the lead is new.
Resist creating a custom field for every question. Fields you never filter on are just clutter that outlives the event.
Webhooks — don't wait for the export
If your plan includes webhooks, set a URL under the event's Settings and every lead is POSTed to it the moment it's captured. That's how you get a lead into your own system, a Slack channel or an automation tool without anyone touching a CSV.
The payload includes the contact fields, the event and booth, the score and the custom answers.
What about direct CRM sync?
Native one-click connectors (Salesforce, HubSpot) aren't built yet. Today the supported paths are CSV export and webhooks — both of which work with every CRM rather than a shortlist.
A note on consent
If you're capturing people in a jurisdiction with marketing-consent rules, add a consent field to your booth and keep the wording specific about what they're opting into. The answer is stored with the lead and travels with the export, so your record of consent stays attached to the person it belongs to.
